Water Services

The Town of Thomaston will provide customers water services in accordance with rules and regulations set forth by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management office.  Our goal is to present all customers with cool, clear drinking water that exceeds all standards set by the State of Alabama.

Water bills are typically sent out on the 1st of the month. 

Late charges (10% of bill) are applied after 10 days of billing date. 

Service will be disconnected for non-payment after the 20th of each month. 

If service is disconnected for non-payment, a $25.00 re-connected fee will be charged along with the full payment of bill before service will be restored.

Over 1,000 gallons	$4.25 per thousand gallons
New Service Charges
New service with meter installation	$500.00 (Includes $100 deposit)
New service with meter already in place	$100.00 deposit

Garbage Services

The town will provide each customer with one rolling dumpster per account.  Pickups are scheduled for every Wednesday, but in some cases (due to holidays) pickups will occur on Thursdays.

Brush and Limb Pickup

The Town of Thomaston will pickup and dispose of limbs and other organic materials upon request.  Materials must be placed on the right of way in order to have them disposed of.  Town employees are not allowed to pickup debris on private property.
